All have sinned (done wrong)
- all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God Romans 3:23 ESV
The punishment for sin is death, but God has a way of escape for us
- the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23 ESV
How did God provide this way?
- God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 ESV
What must I do?
- if you acknowledge and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord [recognizing His power, authority, and majesty as God], and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart a person believes [in Christ as Savior] resulting in his justification [that is, being made righteous—being freed of the guilt of sin and made acceptable to God]; and with the mouth he acknowledges and confesses [his faith openly], resulting in and confirming [his] salvation. Romans 10:9-10 AMP
- whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13 KJV
Suggested Prayer
Almighty God
I confess that I am a sinner.
Please forgive me of all my sins.
I believe that Jesus Christ is Your son.
I believe that He took all my sins upon Himself & that He died and rose again.
I receive Him into my life as my Lord and Saviour.
In Jesus name I pray.
