Do we need an Order of Service?

Suggestion

1. Confession

  • your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear. Isaiah 59:2 NKJV
  • If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our
    sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 NIV

2. Thanksgiving

3. Praise

  • Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise Psalm 100:4 NIV 
  •  You are holy, You who are enthroned upon the praises of Israel. Psalm 22:3 NASB

4. Worship

  • Come, let’s worship and bow down, Let’s kneel before the LORD our Maker. Psalm 95:6 NASB
  • you will seek Me and find1 Me, when you search2 for Me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13 NKJV

In other words, when one worships God with all their heart, God’s Presence appears i.e. one has an Encounter with God.

  • What then is the right course, believers? When you meet together, each one has a psalm, a teaching, a revelation (disclosure of special knowledge), a tongueor an interpretation. Let everything be constructive and edifying and done for the good of all the church. 1 Corinthians 14:26 AMP
