  • By faith [that is, with an inherent trust and enduring confidence in the power, wisdom and goodness of God] we understand that the worlds (universe, ages) were framed and created [formed, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose] by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible. Hebrews 11:3 AMP

  • Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God1 John 3:1 NKJV

Birds fly; baby birds will also fly. Unnatural if baby bird doesn’t fly.
When GOD speaks, it happens. So it is to be expected that when a child of God speaks, it will happen. Unnatural if a child of God speaks and it does not happen.

What can we Command?

1. Inanimate Objects

  • Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done. Matthew 21:21 NIV

Before Zerubbabel [who with Joshua had led the return of the exiles from Babylon and was undertaking the rebuilding of the temple, before him] you shall become a plain [a mere molehill]! Zechariah 4:6-7 AMPC

5. Health

  • Then a woman who had suffered from a hemorrhage for twelve years came up behind Him and touched the [tassel] fringe of His outer robe; for she had been saying to herself, “If I only touch His outer robe, I will be healed.” But Jesus turning and seeing her said, “Take courage, daughter; your [personal trust and confident] faith [in Me] has made you well.” And at once the woman was [completely] healed. He sprang to his feet and began to walk… By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know has been made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through Him that has given him this complete healing in your presence. Acts 3:3-8,16 BSB

The common factor in each of the above passages is faith.

6. Other things

  • So Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, “If I am a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty men.” And fire came down from heaven and consumed him and his fifty. 2 Kings 1:12 NKJV
  • So Elijah answered and said to them, “If I am a man of God, let fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty men.” And the fire of God came down from heaven and consumed him and his fifty. 2 Kings 1:12 NKJV
  • So Elisha said to her, “What shall I do for you? … Then he said, “Go, borrow vessels from everywhere, from all your neighbors—empty vessels; do not gather just a few. And when you have come in, you shall shut the door behind you and your sons; then pour it into all those vessels, and set aside the full ones.” 2 Kings 4:2-4 NKJV
  • What can I do for you? … So he said, “What then is to be done for her?” … So he said, “Call her.” When he had called her, she stood in the doorway. Then he said, “About this time next year you shall embrace a son.” 2 Kings 4:13-16 NKJV
We can command anything we want to happen. Note, these didn’t say “God told me to say so”.

How do we go about it?

Speak & keep speaking

Examples

  • Jesus had been sayinga to him, “Come out of the man, you unclean spirit!” Mark 5:8 AMP
  • for she had been sayinga to herself, “If I only touch His outer robe, I will be healed.” Matthew 9:21 AMP
aHad been saying = Repeatedly. You may have to keep commanding for certain things to happen.
