What Angels Do
1. Protection
- The Angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him, and delivers them. Psalm 34:7 ESV
- Are not all the angels ministering spirits sent out [by God] to serve (accompany, protect) those who will inherit salvation? [Of course they are!] Hebrews 1:14 AMP
- “Behold, I am going to send an angel before you to guard you along the way and to bring you into the place which I have prepared. Exodus 23:20 NASB
- For He will command His angels in regard to you, To protect and defend and guard you in all your ways [of obedience and service]. They will lift you up in their hands, So that you do not [even] strike your foot against a stone. Psalm 91:11-12 AMP
Examples of protection

- Nebuchadnezzar spoke, saying, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach,
and Abed-Nego, who sent His Angel and delivered His servants who trusted
in Him, and they have frustrated the king’s word, and yielded their
bodies, that they should not serve nor worship any god except their own

2. Guidance
- He will send His angel before you [to guide you] Genesis 24:7 AMP
- I am sending an angel before you to protect you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared. Exodus 23:20 BSB
Examples of guidance
- The angel of God, who had been going in front of the camp of Israel, moved and went behind them. Exodus 14:19 AMP
3. Attack enemies
- I will send an Angel before you and I will drive out the Canaanite, the Amorite, the Hittite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite. Exodus 33:2 AMP
Examples of attacking enemies
- And the angel of the LORD went out and struck 185,000 in the camp of the Assyrians; and when the [surviving] men got up early the next morning, they saw all the dead. Isaiah 37:36 AMP
4. Serve

5. Deliverance

How to "activate" Angels
- Bless the LORD, O you his angels, you mighty ones who do His word, obeying the voice of his word! Psalm 103:20 ESV

Angels listen and do. When we speak the Word of GOD, Angels listen to it and help make it come to pass.
Angels coming with Prayer
- So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was fervently praying to God for him. On the night before Herod was to bring him to trial, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, with sentries standing guard at the entrance to the prison. Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. Acts 12:5-7 BSB
- Cornelius said, “Four days ago to this hour, I was praying in my house
during the ninth hour (3:00-4:00 p.m.); and a man [dressed] in bright,
dazzling clothing suddenly stood before me … Acts 10:30 AMP
Possible to see Angels clearly

House of GOD; Gateway to Heaven

Mighty in Strength

- Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven with the key to the Abyss, holding in his hand a great chain. He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. Visible/Invisible
- Now the Angel of the Lord came and sat under the terebinth tree which was in Ophrah, which belonged to Joash the Abiezrite, while his son Gideon threshed wheat in the winepress, in order to hide it from the Midianites. The Angel of the Lord
- And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed. Then Moses said, “I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.” So when the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!” Exodus 3:2-4 NKJV
- Then the Angel of the Lord came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said: “I led you up from Egypt and brought you to the land of which I swore to your fathers; and I said, ‘I will never break My covenant with you. And you shall make no covenant with the inhabitants of this land; you shall tear down their altars.’ But you have not obeyed My voice. Why have you done this? Judges 2:1-2 NKJV
The term “The Angel of the Lord” whenever used refers to the Lord Jesus.
