Seek to be in God's Presence

  • Seek and deeply long for His face and His presence continually. Psalm 105:4 AMP
  • When You said, “Seek My face [in prayer, require My presence as your greatest need],” my heart said to You, “Your face, O LORD, I will seek [on the authority of Your word].” Psalm 27:8 AMP
  • The upright will dwell in Your presence. Psalm 140:13 NASB

God invites and expects us to dwell in His Presence.

How do you Experience GOD's Presence?

In other words, when one worships God with all their heart, God’s Presence appears i.e. one has an Encounter with God.

Linger in GOD's Presence

  • And so the LORD used to speak to Moses face to face, just as a man speaks to his friend. When Moses returned to the camp, his attendant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, would not depart from the tent. Exodus 33:11 AMP
  • Do not be in a hurry to leave the king’s presence. Ecclesiastes 8:3 NIV
  • Now the LORD said to Moses, “Come up to Me on the mountain and stay there, and I will give you the stone tablets with the law and the commandments which I have written for their instruction.” Exodus 24:12 AMP

People who sought GOD's Presence actively

  • Joshua: Thus the LORD would speak to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend. Then Moses would return to the camp, but his young assistant Joshua son of Nun would not leave the tent. Exodus 33:11 BSB

Things that happen in God's Presence

1. Deliverance

  • Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why have you become disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall again praise Him For the saving acts of His Presence. Psalm 42:5 NASB

2. Protection

  • He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand]. Psalm 91:1 AMPC

3. Answers

  • One thing I have desired of the Lord, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord, And to inquire in His temple. Psalm 27:4 NKJV

4. GOD Speaks

  • Then Moses went up to the mountain, and the cloud covered the mountain. The glory and brilliance of the Lord rested on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it for six days. On the seventh day God called to Moses from the midst of the cloud. Exodus 24:15-16 AMP

Don't let God's Presence leave you
