Happenings in GOD's Presence

1. Deliverance

  • Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why have you become disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall again praise Him For the saving acts of His PresencePsalm 42:5 NASB
  • In all their affliction He was afflicted, And the Angel of His Presence saved them; In His love and in His pity He redeemed them; And He bore them and carried them All the days of old. Isaiah 63:9 NKJV

2. Protection

  • He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand]. Psalm 91:1 AMPC

3. Answers

  • One thing I have desired of the Lord, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord, And to inquire in His temple. Psalm 27:4 NKJV

4. GOD Speaks

  • Then Moses went up to the mountain, and the cloud covered the mountain. The glory and brilliance of the Lord rested on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it for six days. On the seventh day God called to Moses from the midst of the cloud. Exodus 24:15-16 AMP
  • Then the LORD said, “Go out and stand on the mountain before the LORD. Behold, the LORD is about to pass by.” … And after the fire came a still, small voice. 1 Kings 19:11-12 BSB

5. Blessings

  • the ark of God remained with the family of Obed-edom in his house three months. And the Lord blessed the house of Obed-edom and all that he had. 1 Chronicles 13:14 AMP
  • For You meet him with blessings of good things Psalm 21:3 AMP
Normally, one takes gifts to give when going to meet someone important. On the contrary, when GOD meets us, He gives us blessings.

Joy = blithesomeness or {glee: – exceeding {gladness}

7. Life & Acceleration

  • Then you shall place them in the tabernacle of meeting before the Testimony, where I meet with you. And it shall be that the rod of the man whom I choose will blossom … Now on the next day Moses went into the Tent of the Testimony, and the rod of Aaron of the tribe of Levi had sprouted and put out buds and produced blossoms and yielded [ripe] almonds. Numbers 17:4-5 NKJV & 17:8 AMP

8. Instruction

  • Now the LORD said to Moses, “Come up to Me on the mountain and stay there, and I will give you the stone tablets with the Law and the commandments which I have written for their instruction.” Exodus 24:12 NASB 
  • It came about at the end of forty days and nights that the Lord gave me the two tablets of stone, the tablets of the covenantDeuteronomy 9:11 NASB

9. Favour

  • For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand [anywhere else]; I would rather be a doorkeeper and stand at the threshold in the house of my God than to dwell [at ease] in the tents of wickedness. For the Lord God is a Sun and Shield; the Lord bestows [present] grace and favor and [future] glory (honor, splendor, and heavenly bliss)! Psalm 84:10-11 AMPC

1. Experience GOD's Presence

Search = specifically to worship
Find = to come forth {to} that {is} appear
In other words, when one worships God with all their heart, God’s Presence appears i.e. one has an Encounter with God.

2. Constantly in GOD's Presence

  • The upright will dwell in Your presence. Psalm 140:13 NASB
  • He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand]. Psalm 91:1 AMPC

  • Abraham: When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to him and said, “I am God Almighty; Walk [habitually] before Me [with integrity, knowing that you are always in My presence], and be blameless and complete [in obedience to Me]. Genesis 17:1 AMP
  • But he said to me, ‘The LORD, before whom I walk, will send His angel
    with you and prosper your way; and you shall take a wife for my son from
    my family and from my father’s house. Genesis 24:40 NKJV

  • the lamp of God had not yet gone out, and Samuel was lying down in the temple of the LORD where the ark of God was 1 Samuel 3:3 NASB

3. Linger in GOD's Presence

  • And so the LORD used to speak to Moses face to face, just as a man speaks to his friend. When Moses returned to the camp, his attendant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, would not depart from the tent. Exodus 33:11 AMP
  • Do not be in a hurry to leave the king’s presence. Ecclesiastes 8:3 NIV

4. Seekers of GOD's Presence

  • Joshua: Thus the LORD would speak to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend. Then Moses would return to the camp, but his young assistant Joshua son of Nun would not leave the tent. Exodus 33:11 BSB

6. Don't let GOD's Presence leave you

7. Don't leave GOD's Presence
