Who do you evangelise to?

Family: One of the two who heard what John said and [as a result] followed Jesus was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother. He first looked for and found his own brother Simon and told him, “We have found the Messiah” (which translated means the Christ). Andrew brought Simon to Jesus. John 1:40-42 AMP

Ultimate purpose of sharing the Gospel

As a result of the anguish of His soul, He shall see it and be satisfied; By His knowledge [of what He has accomplished] the Righteous One, My Servant, shall justify the many [making them righteous—upright before God, in right standing with Him], For He shall bear [the responsibility for] their sins. Isaiah 53:11 AMP

That Christ may be satisfied, that his suffering has yielded the desired result i.e. salvation of souls.

Consequence of unsaved not accepting the Gospel

He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 2 Thessalonians 1:8 NIV

Unbelievers blinded to the Gospel

The god of this age (the devil) has blinded⁴ the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 2 Corinthians 4:4 NIV

Ways Of Preaching the Gospel

1. Testimony

Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman’s testimony, “He told me everything I ever did.” John 4:39 NIV

Many more believed because of His word John 4:41 NASB
from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 3:15 NKJV
The seed is the word of God. The seeds along the path are those who hear, but the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved. Luke 8:11-12 BSB
he said, ‘Then I beg you, father, that you send him to my father’s house— for I have five brothers—in order that he may warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’But Abraham said, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets⁵; let them hear them.’ But he said, ‘No, father Abraham, but if someone goes to them from the dead, they will repent!’ But he said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets^a, they will not be persuaded even if someone rises from the dead.’” Luke 16:27-31 NASB 1995

Preach The Full Gospel

Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:38 ESV
Then Philip began with this very Scripture and told him the good news about Jesus. As they traveled along the road and came to some water, the eunuch said, “Look, here is water! What is there to prevent me from being baptized?” And he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and Philip baptized him. Acts 8:35-36 BSB
after he brought them out [of the inner prison], he said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” And they answered, “Believe in the Lord Jesus [as your personal Savior and entrust yourself to Him] and you will be saved, you and your household [if they also believe].” And they spoke the word of the Lord [concerning eternal salvation through faith in Christ] to him and to all who were in his house. And he took them that very hour of the night and washed their bloody wounds, and immediately he was baptized, he and all his household. Acts 16:30-33 AMP

The Full Gospel at its very minimum includes

Repentance & asking GOD for forgiveness
Believing in the Lord Jesus as personal Savior
Baptism (Water)

The Lord Jesus never tried to sweet talk people into accepting the gospel. See Luke 14:36 & Matthew 19:21 & Matthew 13:34 Accept the price and accept the full gospel.

Benefits to those who preach the Gospel

Rescue those who are being taken away to death, And those who stagger to the slaughter, Oh hold them back [from their doom]! If you [claim ignorance and] say, “See, we did not know this,” Does He not consider it who weighs and examines the hearts and their motives? And does He not know it who guards your life and keeps your soul? And will He not repay [you and] every man according to his works? Proverbs 24:11-12 AMP

Power in the Gospel

I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation [from His wrath and punishment] to everyone who believes [in Christ as Savior], to the Jew first and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16 AMP
