Name above all names
- For this reason also [because He obeyed and so completely humbled Himself], God has highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow [in submission], of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess and openly acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord (sovereign God), to the glory of God the Father. Jesus saves
- She will give birth to a Son; and you shall name Him Jesus, for He will save1 His people from their sins.” Matthew 1:21 NASB
- IT SHALL BE THAT EVERYONE WHO CALLS UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD [invoking, adoring, and worshiping the Lord Jesus] SHALL BE SAVED (rescued spiritually).’ Acts 2:21 AMP
Only means of Salvation
- And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among people by which we must be saved [for God has provided the world no alternative for salvation].” Acts 4:12 AMP
Only Mediator
- For there is [only] one God, and [only] one Mediator between God and mankind, the Man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 AMP
Place of Safety
- The name of the LORD is a strong tower; The righteous runs to it and is safe and set on high [far above evil]. Proverbs 18:10 AMP
