The above tells us that is possible to complete one’s ministry.

2Though here it talks about Timothy’s Spiritual Ministry, ministry could include your vocation i.e. Studies, Work, Spiritual Ministry etc  In other words, whatever you are called to do.

Attention to Ministry

  • Practice and work hard on these things; be absorbed in them [completely occupied in your ministry], so that your progress will be evident to all. 1 Timothy 4:15 AMP

Those who finished their Ministry

  • Apostle Paul: But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry. For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. From now on there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but to all who crave His appearing. 2 Timothy 4:5-8 BSB
  • King David: For David, after he had served God’s purpose in his own generation, fell asleep, and was buried among his fathers and underwent decay Acts 13:36 NASB
