What happens with Worship?

1. GOD appears

Search = specifically to worship
Find =  to come forth {to} that {is} appear 
In other words, when one worships God with all their heart, God’s Presence appears i.e. one has an Encounter with God.

GOD visiting us brings us Blessings. See below

Normally, one takes gifts to give when going to meet someone important. On the
contrary, when GOD meets us, He gives us blessings.

2. GOD speaks

  • While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” Acts 13:2 ESV
  •  But now bring me a musiciana.” And it came about, when the musician played, that the hand of the Lord came upon him. And he said, “This is what the Lord says: … 2 Kings 3:15-16 NASB

3. Evil spirits leave

  • So it came about that whenever the [evil] spirit from God was on Saul, David took a harp and played it with his hand; so Saul would be refreshed and be well, and the evil spirit would leave him. 1 Samuel 16:23 AMP

Modes of Worship

1. Bowing down of head

  • Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. Psalms 95:6 NKJV
  • Then the man bowed down his head and worshiped the Lord. Genesis 24:26 NKJV 
  • So the people believed; and when they heard that the Lord had visited the children of Israel and that He had looked on their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshiped. Exodus 4:31 NKJV
  • Moreover King Hezekiah and the leaders commanded the Levites to sing praise to the Lord with the words of David and of Asaph the seer. So they sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshiped. 2 Chronicles 29:30 NKJV
  • And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground, and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem bowed before the Lord, worshiping the Lord. 2 Chronicles 20:18 NKJV

2. Falling to ground and worshipping

  • So He said, “No, but as Commander of the army of the Lord I have now come.”And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped, and said to Him, “What does my Lord say to His servant?” Joshua 5:14 NKJV
  • And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Matthew 2:11 NKJV
  • Then the four living creatures said, “Amen!” And the twenty-four elders fell down and worshiped Him who lives forever and ever. Revelation 5:14 NKJV 

3. Singing

  • Worship the LORD with gladness; come into his presence with singing. Psalm 100:2 NRSV

4. Other Modes

  • Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies [dedicating all of yourselves, set apart] as a living sacrifice, holy and well-pleasing to God, which is your rational (logical, intelligent) act of worship. Romans 12:1 AMP
  • And as they went to tell His disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, “Rejoice!” So they came and held Him by the feet and worshiped Him. Matthew 28:9 NKJV
  • By faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of the sons of Joseph, and worshiped, leaning on the top of his staff.  Hebrews 11:21 NKJV

GOD is seeking worshippers Now!

  • But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seekingb such to worship Him. John 4:23 NKJV
Who GOD found

  • I have found David My servant; With My holy oil I have anointed him, With whom My hand shall be established and steadfast; My arm also shall strengthen him. Psalm 89:20-21 AMP
