God's will that we prosper

  • let them say continually, “Let the Lord be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.” Psalm 35:27 NKJV
  • Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers. 3 John 1:2 NASB

Promises of prosperity

  • He himself shall dwell in prosperity, And his descendants shall inherit the earth. Ps 25:13 NKJV
  • Wealth and riches will be in his house Psalm 112:3 NKJV
  • God makes a home for the lonely; He leads out the prisoners into prosperity Psalms 68:6 NASB
  • the humble will inherit the land And will delight themselves in abundant prosperity. Psalm 37:11 NASB

Prosperous men of God

  • Abraham: Abram was very rich in livestock, silver, and gold. Genesis 13:2 NASB
  • Solomon: All King Solomon’s drinking vessels were of gold, and all the vessels of the house of the forest of Lebanon were of pure gold; silver was not considered valuable in the days of Solomon. 2 Chronicles 9:20 NASB

3. Having God's Presence

4. As answer to prayer

  • Now it pleased the Lord that Solomon had asked this thing. God said to him, “Because you have asked this and have not asked for yourself a long life nor for wealth, nor for the lives of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to recognize justice, behold, I have done as you asked. I have given you a wise and discerning heart (mind), so that no one before you was your equal, nor shall anyone equal to you arise after you. I have also given you what you have not asked, both wealth and honor, so that there will not be anyone equal to you among the kings, for all your days. 1 Kings 3:10-13 AMP

5. God's blessing

Can ask for Prosperity NOW

  • O Lord, I pray, send now prosperity4. Psalms 118:25 NKJV

Pass on Prosperity to generations

  • A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children Proverbs 13:22 ESV
  • May the LORD give you increase more and more, You and your children. Psalm 115:14 NKJV
  • Houses and riches are an inheritance from fathers, But a prudent wife is from the LORD. Proverbs 19:14 NKJV
