Key Verse

1. Vessels of Honour

  • But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work. 2 Timothy 2:20-21 NKJV

2. Chosen Vessel

  • But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel. Acts 9:15 NKJV

3. Empty Vessels

  • Then he said, “Go, borrow vessels from everywhere, from all your neighbors—empty vessels; do not gather just a few. And when you have come in, you shall shut the door behind you and your sons; then pour it into all those vessels, and set aside the full ones.” So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured it out. Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, “Bring me another vessel.” And he said to her, “There is not another vessel.” So the oil ceased. 2 Kings 4:3-6 NKJV

4. Vessels Pour Out

  • For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. 2 Timothy 4:6 NKJV
  • But even if I am being poured out as a drink offering on the sacrifice and service of your faith [for preaching the message of salvation], still I rejoice and share my joy with you all. Philippians 2:17 AMP

5. Holy Spirit is Poured Out

  • All the Jewish believers who came with Peter were amazed, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had also been poured out on the Gentiles. For they were hearing them speaking with tongues and exalting God. Acts 10:45-46 NASB

6. Holy Spirit can Flow Out of You

  • He who believes in Me [who cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me] as the Scripture has said, From his innermost being shall flow [continuously] springs and rivers of living water. But He was speaking here of the Spirit, Whom those who believed (trusted, had faith) in Him were afterward to receive. John 7:38-39 AMPC

  • Then Peter and John laid their hands on them [one by one], and they received the Holy Spirit. Acts 8:17 AMP
  • Ananias departed and entered the house, and after laying his hands
on him said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the
road by which you were coming, has sent me so that you may regain your
sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” Acts 9:17 NASB
