1. Tongues

But you, beloved, build yourselves up on [the foundation of] your most holy faith [continually progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], pray in the Holy Spirit, and keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously and looking forward to the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ [which will bring you] to eternal life. Examples of those who used Tongues much:

I thank God that I speak in [strange] tongues (languages) more than any of you or all of you put together 1 Corinthians 14:18 AMPC

you will seek Me and find¹ Me, when you search² for Me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13 NKJV

In other words, when one worships God with all their heart, God’s Presence appears i.e. one has an Encounter with God.

Then Jesus, being filled with the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, being tempted for forty days by the devil. And in those days He ate nothing, and afterward, when they had ended, He was hungry. Luke 4:1-2 NKJV

Suggesting that fasting correctly can get GOD’s attention.

The Lord Jesus went filled but returned in the power of the Holy Spirit.
