  • Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord isEphesians 5:17 NKJV
  • Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies [dedicating all of yourselves, set apart] as a living sacrifice, holy and well-pleasing to God, which is your rational (logical, intelligent) act of worship. And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you]. Romans 12:1-2 AMP

From everyone to whom much has been given, much will be required; and to whom they entrusted much, of him they will ask all the more. Luke 12:47-48 AMP

Don't settle for anything less than GOD's Will

  • Now the sons of Reuben and the sons of Gad had very large herds of cattle, and they saw the land of Jazer and the land of Gilead [on the east side of the Jordan River], and indeed, the place was suitable for raising livestock … They said, “If we have found favor in your sight, let this land be given to your servants as a possession. Do not take us across the Jordan [River].” Numbers 32:1,5 AMP

GOD’s Will; His best for us. GOD’s plan/promise/will for the Israelites was the land of Canaan (Exodus 6:4) across the Jordan (Deuteronomy 11:31) a land flowing with Milk and Honey (Exodus 3:8) where one cluster of grapes had to be carried between two people on a pole! (Numbers 13:23). However, seeing a land on the way that was suitable for livestock, some Israelites chose that over GOD’s will!
